Inspiration For My Renovation
Hello! This is a short one. I have a meeting next week on Tuesday to (hopefully!) finalize my renovation plan with the builder - we are still trying to pinch a few pennies - so the list of things I am looking at for inspiration is really dwindling, and it better be! Changes to scope are costly lol (no joke) so I need to be committed to the scope the second we sign the deal.
First up - the front porch. Now that the weather is improving, John and I are going to finish the porch project that we started last year and I really like the simplicity of these columns - great inspiration (and motivation!).
I have been working on designing the cabinetry layout for the two master bedroom closets in my house and I am drawn to the look of the wire face and fabric backing on these cabinets. The closets in my house are small and have no windows so this may be too much, I'm not ruling it out though! I really love this look.
My laundry room will have a very small sink and I am really inspired by the look of this backsplash and wall faucet to dress it up a bit.
I am also still trying to determine what to do/if anything for a backsplash in the powder room. I really like the idea of some type of tongue and groove paneling because it can be painted in a glossy paint that stands up to water far better than drywall and matte paint (a lesson I have learned over the years!). The three inspiration images to follow are all charming.....
.....my favorite idea though is a little square/rectangle of tile behind the sink - add in a skirt and I'm sold! Love, love, love.
I told you it was short. That's it for this edition of Inspiration For My Renovation.
Thank you for stopping in,
Kerry
