Happy Friday! I am back with a second installment of Furniture Fever. In the first installment I highlighted a rattan console table and today I am highlighting a set of - pick your label for them as there are many - poufs/hassocks/stools from Palecek that I saw recently and am now nonstop scheming on how and where to use them.

Here they are!

Poufs/hassocks are versatile. They can be used as a footstool or an extra seat, even a makeshift side table. They can be a permanent part of a room's decor or easily stored out of the way when not needed. The reason I am fired up about these in particular is that they are unique and pieces of art on their own. They are rattan - I obviously have a real love of rattan! - woven over a metal frame so they are sturdy and look airy at the same time. These would look great under a console table or as part of a seating group.

Palecek also has this rattan hassock which is equally attractive. This one has more of a beachy vibe and would make a great addition to a casual seating area.

Here are some rooms with poufs included in their seating areas for inspiration.

This first one features woven poufs/hassocks - a similar feel to the ones I am obsessing over.

The next two images feature leather poufs/hassocks. Leather seems to be the most popular type featured in designer's work.

While I am dreaming....another great option for "easy to move and store" extra seating is an X bench/stool. This X bench is also from Palecek and is gorgeous. It is seagrass and I love it!

Some X bench inspiration!

Another great place to use X benches/stools is a guest bedroom - they can be used for seating or as a luggage rack. Practical and attractive.

I am thinking the rattan hassocks that are giving me fever dreams would be a great addition to the basement in my house. I must say, I also love the foldable leather X benches - those are a great addition to any home because they are versatile, easy to transport from room to room and easy to tuck away. Now, I just need to find a reason to get the seagrass X bench too - perhaps for my guest room!

We have reached the end of Furniture Fever and the end of the week. Happy weekend. See you on Manic Monday!

Thank you for being here today, Kerry
